1355.07 DISPOSER PERMIT; FEE; APPLICATION.

   (a)    No person shall install a mechanical garbage disposer without first having obtained a permit therefor from the Inspector of Buildings. The fee for such permit shall be as provided in Section 1307.06(d)(7).

   (b)    The application for such permit shall contain such information as the Inspector prescribes and that will assist him in determining whether the proposed installation meets the requirements of this chapter. Such application and permit may be submitted and issued separately or may be combined with the plumbing application and permit. However, such application and permit must show the type, model number, manufacturer of such disposer or some other means for identifying such disposer. If the application for and the issuance of such permit is so combined, the fee provided in subsection (a) hereof shall be in addition to all other fees or charges required. (Ord. 1974-83.
