1335.01 CODE ADOPTED; INTENT AND PURPOSE.

   Pursuant to the provisions of Ohio R.C. 731.231, the National Electrical Code as updated, amended and/or revised, promulgated by the National Fire Protection Association, is hereby adopted by the City and incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein. The purpose of the National Electrical Code, as adopted herein, is to prescribe regulations consistent with nationally recognized good practice for the safeguarding of persons and property from hazards arising from the use of electricity, and to set standards for the use of electricity in all buildings and structures constructed within the City.
