781.99 PENALTY.

   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than two hundred dollars ($200. 00) for the first offense, and not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), and be imprisoned for a period of not less than sixty days nor more than six months for any subsequent offense. Every purchase, sale or gift of any weapon mentioned in this chapter shall be deemed a separate offense.
