649.11 PERMITTING NOISE POLLUTION.

(a) In addition to the prohibitions contained in Sections 649.02 through 649.10, no person owning, leasing or controlling the operation of any source or sources of noise, including an animal or animals, shall willfully, negligently or through failure to take necessary precautions, permit the establishment or continuation of a condition of noise pollution.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 698.02. (Ord. 1999-52. Passed 11-9-99.)
