608.06 INSPECTIONS.
(a) Any duly authorized officer, employee or representative of the Department may enter and inspect any property, premises or place at any reasonable time for the purpose of investigating or testing either an actual or suspected source of air pollution, or of ascertaining the state of compliance with this chapter and regulations enforced pursuant thereto. No person shall refuse entry or access to any authorized representative of the Service Department who requests entry for the aforementioned purposes, and who presents appropriate credentials; nor shall any person obstruct, hamper or interfere with any such inspection.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor for a first offense and a misdemeanor of the third degree for any subsequent offense. Punishment shall be as provided in Section 698.02. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
