347.09 VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION.

   No motor transportation company or private motor carrier shall operate any motor vehicle on the roads, streets or highways in this Municipality without having displayed on both sides thereof in such places as to be easily seen by anyone wishing to identify the vehicle, in letters and figures not less than two inches in height and three-eighths inch in width, the following:

   (a)    The company number of the vehicle; and

   (b)    The company name, location and state.
