303.09 INSPECTION OF VEHICLES.

   In addition to or independent of all other penalties provided in this Code, the Mayor's Court or other local court of the Municipality may require inspection by the Police Department of any vehicle involved in a violation of any section for which a penalty is prescribed in Sections 307.01 and 307.02. If any such vehicle is involved in an accident and damaged, the Mayor’s Court or other local court of the Municipality may prohibit the use of such vehicle upon the streets of the Municipality until the same has been submitted to examination by the Police Department and approved by them as safe for operation upon the streets of the Municipality.
