(A) Building Code Enforcement. The city is hereby designated the enforcing agency in the city for the Michigan Building, Residential and Energy Codes as promulgated by the Michigan Construction Code Commission, pursuant to Public Act 230 of 1972, being M.C.L.A. §§ 125.1501 through 125.1531, as amended.
(B) Mechanical Code Enforcement. The city is hereby designated the enforcing agency in the city for the Michigan Mechanical Code as promulgated by the Michigan Construction Code Commission, pursuant to Public Act 230 of 1972, being M.C.L.A. §§ 125.1501 through 125.1531, as amended.
(C) Plumbing Code Enforcement. The city is hereby designated the enforcing agency in the city for the Michigan Plumbing Code as promulgated by the Michigan Construction Code Commission, pursuant to Public Act 230 of 1972, being M.C.L.A. §§ 125.1501 through 125.1531, as amended.
(D) Electrical Code Enforcement. The city is hereby designated the enforcing agency in the city for the Michigan Electrical Code as promulgated by the Michigan Construction Code Commission, pursuant to Public Act 230 of 1972, being M.C.L.A. §§ 125.1501 through 125.1531, as amended.
(E) Inspectors/Enforcement Officers. The City Commission shall utilize appropriately qualified individuals to serve as inspectors and enforcement officers for the Codes. The City Commission shall, by motion, designate such agencies or individual inspectors and enforcement officers as it shall choose. All inspectors and enforcement officers are authorized to issue appearance tickets for violations of the Codes.
(F) Fees and Bonds. All fees for permits, bonds and inspections required pursuant to the enforcement of the Codes shall be those established. by motion of the City Commission.
