It is unlawful for any person, whether in a public or private place, to play or permit to be played any AM/FM radio receiving set, tape player, stereo, phonograph or other machine or device capable of producing or reproducing amplified sound, from which offensive sound emanates. It is prima facie evidence that the amplified sound is offensive if it can be clearly heard from a distance of 50 feet. The owner or person in control of a sound producing device shall immediately abate the sound when ordered to do so by a peace officer.
