Except as otherwise provided in this title or in Ch. 90 of this code of ordinances, M.S. Ch. 169 (commonly referred to as the Highway Traffic Regulation Act), as it may be amended from time to time, is hereby incorporated herein and adopted by reference. The penalty for the violation of the provisions of M.S. Ch. 169, as it may be amended from time to time, adopted by reference in this section shall be identical with the penalty provided for in that chapter for the same offense.
