§ 33.02 ESTABLISHMENT OF FIRE DEPARTMENT; COMPOSITION.
   (A)   The Fire Department shall consist of the Chief of the Fire Department, the Fire Marshal (who is also the Fire Prevention Officer), Assistant Chiefs, Training Captain, lieutenants, and other personnel who shall be under the general direction of the Chief of the Fire Department. The number of officers and other personnel shall be determined from time to time by the Board of Public Works and Safety.
   (B)   As is applicable, the salaries, including longevity pay, of the Chief of the Fire Department, the Fire Marshal, Assistant Chiefs, Training Captain, lieutenants, and all other personnel in the Fire Department shall be from time to time set by the Board of Public Works and Safety, but within the appropriation fixed by the Common Council.
   (C)   The Chief of the Fire Department and the Board of Public Works and Safety shall be in full charge of the Department and all matters connected therewith.
   (D)   The personnel of the Fire Department shall work those hours and receive that pay as may be determined from time to time by the Board of Public Works and Safety.
