The City Traffic Director is hereby authorized to recommend to the Board of Public Works and Safety locations for bus stops, taxicab stands, and stands for other passenger common carrier motor vehicles on public streets and in places and number as he shall determine to be of the greatest benefit and convenience to the public. Every bus stop, taxicab stand, or other stand shall be designated by appropriate signs, when duly established by resolution of the Board of Public Works and Safety.
