§ 50.70 SERVICE CALLS AND FEES.
   (A)   An after-hours service fee shall be charged for each service call for a situation on the user's side of where a property owner installed shut off valve would be located pursuant to § 50.61 of this code, if that service call is not made during normal Water Department working hours, on a weekend, or is made during a holiday. This charge must be paid before the water service will be reconnected.
      (1)   When an after-hours service call requiring Water Department personnel to be dispatched for a service call outside of normal Water Department working hours or on a weekend that is not a holiday, a charge of $150 shall be charged for disconnecting the water service.
      (2)   When an after-hours service call requiring Water Department to be dispatched for a service call on a holiday, a charge of $350 shall be charged for disconnecting the water service.
      (3)   For assessing an after-hours service fee, the normal working hours for Water Department personnel who perform service calls are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and the following are the holidays which such personnel are scheduled to be off duty: New Year's Day, President's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Discovery Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. For any holiday falling on a Sunday, the holiday shall be observed on the following Monday. For any holiday falling on a Saturday, the holiday shall be observed on the prior Friday.
   (B)   In addition to the after-hours service fee, the city shall recover the cost of any equipment or personnel utilized at hourly rates specified in Chapter 51 of this Code, at Section 5(B) of Appendix A.
