A. No person, firm. or corporation shall build or repair any building now in existence, within the fire limits of the city, without first procuring a permit to so do from the building inspector.
B. Any person, firm, or corporation desiring a permit shall make written application to the building inspector, which application shall be accompanied by the plans and specifications of such building or repairing, and, if upon examination such construction is found to conform to the ordinances of the city and the laws of the state, the building inspector shall present such application to the city council at its next regular meeting with his recommendations.
C. If, upon examination, such construction is found to conform to the ordinances of the city and the laws of the state, the city council shall then authorize the building inspector to issue a permit for such construction.
