(A) No person or entity shall engage in the business nor act in the capacity of a roofing contractor within the city limits, nor may such person or entity bring or maintain any claim, action, suit, or proceeding in any court in the city without a valid registration as provided in this section.
(B) Prior to any work, all roofing contracting persons or entities shall register with the city by providing a copy of the Oklahoma registration certificate and a copy of liability insurance and proof of compliance with workers’ compensation.
(C) The fee for registration in the city shall be set forth in § 35.01, “Schedule of Fees and Charges,” of this code.
(D) Any registration in force on or before June 30, 2012, may be renewed in each fiscal year until June 30 of the following year. The fee for renewals shall be set forth in § 35.01, “Schedule of Fees and Charges.” Renewals shall have a 30-day grace period after June 30 for renewal without a late fee. Renewals after the 30-day grace period shall be set forth in § 35.01, “Schedule of Fees and Charges.”
