(a) A license of commission issued pursuant to Section 709.07 is valid and in effect for on year from the date of issuance.
(b) Upon request of an armed security guard or private security service duly licensed or commissioned pursuant to Section 709.07, the Mayor shall, from year to year, renew the license or commission if such guard of service pays the renewal fee required by Section 709.04 and otherwise meets the requirements of this chapter.
(c) Every licensed armed security guard shall promptly report in writing to the Mayor every pending charge, arrest or conviction for a felony or an offense of violence, as defined in Ohio R.C. 2901.01 against him or her occurring subsequent to the time of the issuance of his or her commission.
(d) A license or commission that is renewed pursuant to subsection (b) hereof shall be valid and in effect for one year from the date of renewal.
