The Superintendent of Public Works shall be subject to the supervision of the Public Works Committee and shall hereinafter be referred to as the “Superintendent”. The Superintendent shall be appointed by the Mayor, by and with the advice and consent of the Village Board and shall hold office until a successor is appointed and qualified. The Superintendent shall receive such salary as may be provided by the annual budget of the Village Board at the time of the appointment.
