ORDINANCE NO. 22-07
   AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A REVISED CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF HECKER, MONROE AND ST. CLAIR COUNTIES, ILLINOIS.
   WHEREAS, the Village of Hecker (“the Village”) is an Illinois non-home rule municipality operating under the provisions of Article VII, Section 7, of the Illinois Constitution, and other laws; and
   WHEREAS, the Village has the authority to adopt ordinances and to promulgate rules and regulations that pertain to its government and affairs and that protect the public health, safety and welfare of its citizens;
   BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF HECKER, MONROE AND ST. CLAIR COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, THAT:
   SECTION 1:   Amendment. The following exhibit shall be the The Revised Code of Ordinances of the Village of Hecker, Monroe and St. Clair Counties, Illinois” and shall be as follows:

   SECTION 2:   Severability of Provisions. Each section, paragraph, sentence, clause and provision of this Ordinance is severable, and if any provision is held unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, such decision shall not affect the remainder of the Ordinance, nor any part thereof, other than that part affected by such decision.
   SECTION 3: Conflicting Ordinances. Any conflicting ordinances, code provisions and pertinent portions thereof in effect at the time this ordinance takes effect are hereby repealed.
   SECTION 4: Effective. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
   SECTION 5: Passage.  Passed this 9th day of August, 2022 by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Hecker, Monroe and St. Clair Counties, Illinois, and deposited and filed in the office of the Village Clerk in said Village on that date.
