The salaries of the elected and appointed Village officials shall be as follows:
(A) Mayor. The Mayor shall receive an annual salary of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) effective at the nexts mayoral election.
(B) Clerk. The Village Clerk shall receive an annual salary of Three Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($3,150.00).
(C) Trustees. The Village Trustees shall receive Eighty-Five Dollars ($85.00) per regular or special meetings, but shall receive only Sixty Dollars ($60.00) for each regular meeting if the member does not attend. In order to receive compensation for special meetings a trustee shall attend the meeting. The salary shall be effective after the trustee is elected.
(D) Treasurer. The Village Treasurer shall receive an annual salary of Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000.00) effective May 1, 2023.
(E) Property Maintenance Code Official and Zoning Administrator. The Property Maintenance Code Official and the Zoning Administrator shall receive an annual salary of Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000.00).
(F) Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals. The Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals shall receive Seventy-Five Dollars ($75.00) per meeting attended. (Ord. No. 16- 04; 02-09-16)
(G) Secretary of the Zoning Board of Appeals. The Secretary of the Zoning Board of Appeals shall receive Seventy-Five Dollars ($75.00) per meeting attended. (Ord. No. 16- 04; 02-09-16)
(H) Zoning Board of Appeals Members. The members of the Zoning Board of Appeals and Plan Commission shall receive Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per meeting attended. (Ord. No. 16-04; 02-09-16)
(I) Village Collector. The Village Collector shall receive an annual salary of One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00).

[ED. NOTE: The salaries of elected officials who hold elective office for a definite term shall neither be increased nor diminished during that term and shall be fixed at least one hundred eighty (180) days before the beginning of the terms of the officers whose compensation is to be filed.
The ordinance fixing compensation for members of the corporate authorities shall specify whether those members are to be compensated (i) at an annual rate or, (ii) for each meeting of the corporate authorities actually attended if public notice of the meeting was given.]
