1-2-1   COMPOSITION AND GENERAL POWERS.
   The Village Board shall consist of six (6) Trustees, elected in conformity with this Code and State laws governing elections in villages and shall have such powers as are granted by Chapter 65, Illinois Compiled Statutes, as amended. The term of office shall be for four (4) years or until their successors are elected and have qualified. (See 65 ILCS 5/3.1-25-5 and 5/3.1-10-50(D))
