In the spirit of sound and ethical governance and other applicable laws and regulations, the Village believes that the ethical conduct of those in public service is of utmost importance. This policy is set forth in order to address fraud, waste and abuse in Village government and establishes reasonable standards of ethical conduct for all Village employees and officers. It is the intent of this policy to establish minimum expectations relative to employee and officer behavior and conduct in the execution of their duties as representatives of the Village.
