The Air Pollution Control Board shall conduct studies, surveys and prepare plans and reports relative to the overall control, prevention and abatement of air pollution within the Municipality, and may make such recommendations relative thereto to the Council as it feels are in the best interest of the Municipality. The Air Pollution Control Board shall cooperate with other governmental or private agencies to secure the maximum benefit to the Municipality of the work, studies, surveys and reports of such other agencies relative to the control, prevention and abatement of air pollution within and outside of the boundaries of the Municipality. Other powers and duties of the Air Pollution Control Board may be established by the Council by ordinance.
