8-5-6: FACTORS CONSIDERED IN GRANTING UTILITY COMPLIANCE PERMITS:
   A.   Proximity of the utility infrastructure to residential structures and Residential District boundaries.
   B.   Surrounding topography, tree coverage and foliage, nature of uses on adjacent and nearby properties.
   C.   Design of the utility infrastructure, with particular reference to design characteristics that have the effect of reducing or eliminating visual obtrusiveness.
   D.   No existing structures are located within the geographic area which meet applicant's engineering requirements.
   E.   The applicant demonstrates that there are other limiting factors not enumerated herein that render other sites or heights unsuitable.
   F.   All equipment shelters, cabinets, or other on the ground ancillary equipment shall meet the setback requirement of the zone in which it is located.
   G.   The applicant has addressed all applicable items within the application and addressed the applicable items within the Design Standards.
   H.   Preferred site locations. All new major utility infrastructure(s) shall follow the site location requirements in section 8-5-3 of this chapter. (Ord. 596, 5-24-2019)
