Every taxicab shall have painted on the sides and rear of such taxicab the name of the owner or the assumed name under which the owner operates, together with the company's telephone number and the taxicab permit number. All of the lettering mentioned in this section shall not be less than one inch in width and not less than four inches in height and not less than 5/16 inch stroke and painted with paint that will weather the elements. Such lettering shall be kept legible at all times. The lettering requirements stated herein shall not be applicable to limousines.
