Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a fine of not more than $2,000 and each day such violation continues shall constitute a separate offense; the Council may in addition to the penalty herein described revoke the permit to operate any taxicab involved. Each act done in violation shall constitute a separate offense and upon conviction be punishable as such.
