No permit issued under the terms of this chapter shall be transferred to any other person, and shall not be used for the operation as a taxicab or limousine or any other vehicle except the vehicle owned and operated under the control of the holder of such permit. Any taxicab thus operated under such permit shall have clearly indicated on the sides and rear thereof the name under which the holder or holders do business as indicated on the permit and permit number.
