§ 154.41 DRAINAGE AND STORM WATER MANAGEMENT.
   (A)   General. Storm water management shall be in accordance with the city Drainage Policy (Chapter 158). Erosion and sediment control shall be in accordance with the Erosion and Sedimentation Ordinance (Chapter 156).
   (B)   Drainage easements. Drainage easements are required where a watercourse, drainage way, natural channel or stream traverses a subdivision. No construction shall impede, constrict or block the flow of water in any easement or natural watercourse. Such easement shall not be considered a part of the lot area for purposes of minimum lot size requirements of the Zoning Ordinance. Fifteen feet strips on both sides of earthen ditches, streams, channels and the like, are required to provide access for city maintenance crews and their equipment. A 15 foot strip shall be required on one side only of a concrete drainage ditch. Additionally, drainage easements may be used for utilities.
