§ 117.06 MENTALLY OR DISORDERLY PERSONS.
   (A)   In the case of a person who behaves in a manner that presents a potential danger to themselves or others, EMS has the discretion to transport them or not unless accompanied by an attendant, nurse or police officer. The city shall not be responsible for obtaining an attendant, nurse or police officer.
   (B)   In the event of an emergency commitment for evaluation or observation as ordered or authorized by the city, the individual shall not be transported without the presence of a police officer in the ambulance.
   (C)   Any intoxicated, disorderly or unruly person ordered by a doctor or police officer to be transported in an ambulance may be refused by the city unless such person shall be accompanied by a police officer in the ambulance.
