A. Responsible to Township Manager. Be immediately responsible to the Township Manager for the effective and efficient administration of their respective departments, offices and agencies, and all activities assigned thereto.
B. New Practices. Keep informed as to the latest practices in their particular field and shall inaugurate, with approval of the Township Manager, such new practices as appear to be of benefit to the Township.
C. Submit Reports. Submit reports of the activities of his department as required by the Township Manager.
D. Filing and Indexing of Records, Reports. Establish and maintain a system of filing and indexing records and reports in sufficient detail to furnish all information necessary for proper control of department, office or agency activities and to form a basis for the reports to the Township Manager.
E. Appointment and Removal of Subordinates. Have power, when authorized by the Township Manager, to appoint and remove subordinates subject to Personnel System regulations.
F. Maintenance of Property and Equipment. Be responsible for the proper maintenance of all Township property and equipment used in his department, office or agency.
