A. Pretreatment Charges and Fees. The Borough of Catasauqua may adopt reasonable charges and fees for reimbursement of costs of setting up and operating the Borough's pretreatment program which may include:
(1) Fees for wastewater permit applications including the cost of processing such application.
(2) Fees for wastewater discharge permits, Level I, Level II and/or Level III.
(3) Fees for monitoring, inspection and surveillance procedures including the cost of collection and analyzing an industrial user's discharge and reviewing monitoring reports submitted by industrial users.
(4) Fees for reviewing and responding to accidental discharge procedures and construction.
(5) Fees or filing appeals.
(6) Other fees as the Borough or Township may deem necessary to carry out the requirements contained herein. These fees relate solely to the matters covered in this Part and are separate from all other fees, fines and penalties chargeable by the Borough or Township.
Said fees, payable to the Borough or Township, shall be calculated in accordance with the schedule of fees and charges as established by resolution or ordinance of Borough Council, or Township Council, respectively, and may be changed from time to time by resolution.
B. Severability. If any provision of this Part is invalidated by any court of competent jurisdiction, the renaming provisions shall not be affected and shall continue in full force and effect.
C. Conflict. All other ordinances and parts of other ordinances inconsistent or conflicting with any part of this Part, are hereby repealed to the extent of the inconsistency or conflict.
