1. At the request of any resident of the Township who is a person with a disability or a severely disabled veteran, the Township may, upon approval by the Township Manager, erect on any street as close as possible to that person's place of residence a sign or signs indicating that that place is reserved for a person with a disability or severely disabled veteran, that no parking is allowed there by others, and that any unauthorized person parking there shall be subject to a fine, and shall paint the adjacent curbing blue.
2. The Township Manager shall remove the designated parking space, sign or signs and blue curb upon a change of residence by the disabled person, the removal of the disability and/or the termination of the authorization of the person to use a plate or placard issued pursuant to the statutes referenced in § 704, below.
