1. Private Lots. Beginning forty-eight (48) hours after the declaration of a snow emergency and continuing thereafter, no person who is the record owner of an off-street parking area for five (5) or more automobiles which parking area would be required by the Zoning Ordinance of Hanover Township or is shown upon any Subdivision Plan approved by the governing body of the Township of Hanover, Lehigh County, shall permit more than twenty (20%) percent of said parking area to remain covered with snow and/or ice to a total depth of more than three (3) inches above the surface of the parking area.
2. Alternate Parking Areas. During snow emergencies, the parking areas located in each public park shall be available for parking. All vehicles must be removed from the alternate parking areas within twenty-four (24) hours after the cessation of the snow emergency.
