§ 602. Declaration of Snow Emergency.
The Township Manager shall have authority to declare the existence of snow emergency upon certification by the Township Maintenance Supervisor that present or anticipated snowfall is of such depth as will require plowing of public streets by the Township and that normal parking of motor vehicles will be disrupted by the accumulation of snow in usual parking areas. Such declaration shall be in writing, with the certification of the Township Maintenance Supervisor attached and the dates and times of issuance of the declaration and commencement of the snow emergency indicated thereon, and shall be filed with the Township Clerk. The declaration shall be posted on the Township web site and distributed to local media outlets as determined by the Township Manager.
