For the purpose of this Part the following definitions apply:
ALTERNATE PARKING AREA - an area owned by the Township for the parking of vehicles during a snow emergency. [Ord. 556]
OFF-STREET PARKING AREA - a single, privately owned continuous area, provided for the purpose of vehicular parking bounded by entranceways, curbs, or other obstruction not intended for parking.
PERSON - any individual, corporation, association, cooperative, partnership, or similar group or entity.
PROHIBITED PARKING AREA - streets or portions of streets designated in or pursuant to § 604 of this Part. [Ord. 556]
STREET - that portion designated for the movement of vehicular traffic on a public right-of-way legally open or officially plotted by the Township which is owned by the Township whether acquired by purchase, gift, declaration, condemnation, or other means.
