§ 410. Penalties.
Any person who violates any provision of this Part or § 104 of this Chapter shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than three hundred dollars ($300.00) and costs, including attorney’s fees, and/or to imprisonment for a term not to exceed ninety (90) days. Provided: it shall be the duty of the code enforcement personnel of the Township to report to the appropriate official all such violations, indicating, in each case: the section violated; the license number of the vehicle involved in the violation; the location where the violation took place; and any other facts that might be necessary in order to secure a clear understanding of the circumstances attending the violation. The code enforcement officer shall also attach to or place upon every such vehicle a notice stating that the vehicle was parked in violation of this Part or § 104 of this Chapter. The notice shall contain instructions to the owner or driver of the vehicle that if he will report to the Township office and pay the sum of fifty dollar ($50.00) within seventy-two (72) hours after the time of the notice, or pay the sum of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) between seventy-two (72) hours and fourteen (14) days from the date and time of the notice, the act will save the violator from prosecution and from payment of the fine and costs prescribed in the first sentence of this Section; provided, however, that for a violation of §408 of this Part the notice shall provide for payment of twenty- five dollars ($25.00) within seventy-two (72) hours and between seventy-two (72) hours and fourteen (14) days, a payment of fifty dollars ($50.00).
