(a) Each compensated Township official, officer, or employee may participate or refrain from participating in political activity but no compensated Township official, officer, or employee shall engage in political activity while performing the duties of his/her position with the Township or service as a Township committee person of a political party.
(b) No elected official, officer, or employee in any way shall solicit any assessment, subscription, or contribution for any political party, organization, committee, or candidate from any compensated officer or Township employee.
