§ 901. Definitions.
For the purpose of this Part 9, the following words shall have the meanings as defined below:
   BONFIRE - an outdoor fire utilized for ceremonial purposes.
   PERSON - a natural person, corporation, partnership or other entity.
   PORTABLE OUTDOOR FIREPLACE - a portable, outdoor, solid-fuel-burning fireplace that may be constructed of steel, concrete, clay or other non- combustible material. A portable outdoor fireplace may be open in design, or may be equipped with a small hearth opening and a short chimney or chimney opening in the top.
   OUTDOOR COOKING DEVICE/STRUCTURE - a portable or fixed-position open- flame cooking device or structure fueled by flammable or combustible gases or liquids or by charcoal, wood or artificial logs. Such devices may be portable or located in permanent outdoor structures such as a barbeque grill.
   OUTDOOR WOOD-FIRED BOILER - a fuel-burning device, also known as outdoor wood-fired furnaces, outdoor wood-burning appliances, or outdoor hydronic heaters, water stoves, etc.
      (1)   Designed to burn clean wood or other approved solid fuels.
      (2)   That the manufacturer specifies for outdoor installation or for installation in structures not normally intended for habitation by humans or domestic animals, including structures such as garages or sheds.
      (3)   Heats building space and/or water through the distribution, typically through pipes, of a fluid heated in the device, typically water or a mixture of water and antifreeze.

   RECREATIONAL FIRE - an outdoor fire burning materials other than rubbish or the fuel being burned is not contained in an incinerator, outdoor fireplace, portable outdoor fireplace, barbeque grill or barbeque pit, for pleasure, religious, ceremonial, cooking, warmth or similar purposes.
