§ 716. Billing; Institution of Suit.
Han-Le-Co Fire Company shall send the responsible party/parties an itemized bill for its emergency service costs within forty-five (45) days after an emergency incident or false alarm. If the responsible party/parties fail to pay the bill within sixty (60) days thereafter, then Han-Le-Co Fire Company may file suit in any court of competent jurisdiction to recover the outstanding amount, plus interest from the date of billing, costs, attorney fees and a ten (10) percent penalty or may assign its claim to Hanover Township, Lehigh County for recovery through such legal action as the Township may deem appropriate. Recovery by the Township shall include all costs, interest, fees and penalties to which Han-Le-Co Fire Company would be entitled.
