§ 207. Penalties.
Any person, who shall violate any provision of this Part 2 shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than three hundred dollars ($300.00); and/or to imprisonment for a term not to exceed ninety (90) days. Provided: it shall be the duty of the code enforcement personnel of the Township to report to the appropriate official all such violations, indicating, in each case: the section violated; the license number of the vehicle involved in the violation; the location where the violation took place; and any other facts that might be necessary in order to secure a clear understanding of the circumstances attending the violation. The code enforcement officer shall also attach to or place upon every such vehicle a notice stating that the vehicle was parked in violation of this Part. The notice shall contain instructions to the person that if he will report to the Township office and pay the sum of fifty dollars ($50.00) within seventy-two hours after the time of the notice, or pay the sum of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) between seventy-two hours and fourteen (14) days from the date and time of the notice, that act will save the violator from prosecution and from payment of the fine and costs prescribed in the first sentence of this Section. Every day that a violation of this Part continues shall constitute a separate offense.
