1. Number and Terms. Members shall consist of seven persons to be appointed by the Township Council. Members shall serve for terms of 4 years provided that said terms shall be staggered so that terms of at least one member shall expire each year. All of the members of the Planning Commission shall be residents of the municipality.
2. Filling Vacancies. Upon the occurrence of a vacancy of any member of the Planning Commission, the Township Council may by normal procedures appoint a qualified candidate to fill the unexpired term, taking into consideration any recommendations of the Planning Commission.
