§ 1-797.3.   Equal Employment Opportunity Policy.
Hanover Township is an equal opportunity employer. This means that Hanover Township does not discriminate against employees or job applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, ancestry, age, sex, national origin, non-job related disability, known association with a disabled individual, possession of a diploma based on passing a general education development test or willingness or refusal to participate in abortion or sterilization or on any other basis prohibited by law. This nondiscrimination policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment which include, but are not limited to, compensation, hours, recruitment, selection, training, assignment, evaluation, promotion, discipline and termination. Harassment based on any status or condition protected by applicable laws as a form of discrimination prohibited by this policy. Any employee who becomes aware of any incidence of harassment or discrimination must bring the matter to the attention of their supervisor or the Township Manager or as outlined below so that prompt and effective corrective action may be taken.
