The Township adopts the following herein Equal Opportunity Employment Policy for the following purposes:
A. To comply with the requirements of employers pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, and the employment provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, as amended. The purpose of this Equal Employment Opportunity Policy is to prevent and eliminate unlawful, discriminatory practices in employment, because of race, color, religion, ancestry, age, sex, national origin, non-job related disability, known association with a disabled individual, possession of a diploma based on passing a general education development test or willingness or refusal to participate in abortion or sterilization.
B. To conform the employment policies of this Township with the require ments of said laws and regulations.
