1. Existing edges of flexible pavement shall be cut vertically and removed on a line not less than nine (9) inches on each side of and parallel to the trench opening and to a depth of seven (7) inches for restoration.
2. Restoration of pavements shall consist of five (5) inches of bituminous construction base course and two (2) inches of hot-mix bituminous concrete surface course (ID-2). Between November 1st and March 1st ID-2 shall not be laid except with the written permission of the Township Inspector.
3. The installation of underground electrical and/or telephone lines immediately behind concrete curbs (i.e., between curbs and sidewalks) shall require a street excavation permit.
4. All materials and workmanship shall comply with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Form 408, dated 1976, with special attention to the following:
