Demotions may result from the Township employee's inability to perform his assigned work, from disciplinary action, etc. The Township employee will be given priority to be reappointed to his previous job if that job becomes available within 1 year after his demotion period. The level of his priority will depend on his work performance in relation to the work performance of other co-workers.
