§ 1-721.   Hiring.
Hiring decisions are made in the Township by the Township Manager and the Township employee’s immediate supervisor (if any) after they have determined that the Township employee qualified for the job; that is, if the Township employee has a good past employment record and has the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to perform the job for which the Township employee is being considered. Discrimination in hiring and promoting because of race, color, creed, national origin, sex, age or physical disability is prohibited. If there is any change in the Township employee’s address, marital status, number of dependents or other personal data, the Township employee must inform the Township Manager who will update your personal records accordingly.
