(A) Every applicant, before being issued a license shall pay an annual license fee, pursuant to the city licensing ordinances, for the privilege of operating or maintaining for operation each machine, as defined in §§ 118.001 and 118.020.
(B) No license issued under this subchapter shall be issued to any applicant unless approved by the Chief of Police and the Director of the Department of Public Works.
