(A) A basic annual license fee of $130 per year shall be paid by each taxicab licensee. This license shall permit the owner to operate a taxicab. The owner shall be permitted to operate as many additional taxicabs as he or she may desire when an additional license fee of $130 per annum shall be paid for each additional taxicab. No license shall be issued for more taxicabs than are provided for in § 125.22(B).
(B) Holders of licenses may surrender their license at any time during the year it was issued and they shall receive a refund of a prorated share of the unused license from the City Controller.
