§ 114.18 ISSUANCE.
   (A)   The City Controller shall, upon the filing of an application for an automobile dealer’s license, notify the members of the Licensing Committee, before whom the applicant shall appear in person at the Committee’s next regular meeting, as provided in § 114.15.
   (B)   If the applicant for a license under this chapter and the application are found to be satisfactory, and if the license fee for additional lots shall have been paid, the Licensing Committee shall authorize the City Controller to issue a license to the applicant, authorizing him or her to conduct, maintain, engage in and carry on the business of buying, selling or dealing in motor vehicles in the city, in the place designated in the license.
   (C)   Each person licensed under this chapter shall display the license so issued in a conspicuous place in his or her place of business.
   (D)   All licenses issued under this chapter shall expire on December 31 of each year.
   (E)   In the event any person is issued a license under the provisions of this chapter and the license is revoked for cause, no license shall be granted to that person to conduct or carry on such a business within 6 months after the revocation.
