§ 112.107 OFFICER REQUIRED TO BE PRESENT.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of any person owning, leasing or operating any public dance hall, as defined in § 112.100, for the purpose of holding public dances, or for any person holding a public dance, either upon payment of an admission fee or otherwise, to have during all the time the dance is held and permitted, at the applicant’s own expense, an officer on duty for the purpose of maintaining peace, quietude, and dignity at these dances.
   (B)   It shall be the duty of the person holding or proposing to hold a dance to apply to the Chief of Police, at least 24 hours prior to the holding of the dance, and it shall be the duty of the Chief of Police, on presentation, to assign an officer or a special police person to the duty.
   (C)   Officers shall be assigned who are not on their regular hours of duty, and the services shall be paid for by the person or organization responsible for the dances.
