§ 112.053 OFFICER REQUIRED TO BE PRESENT.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of any person owning, leasing or operating any drive-in theatre to have during all the time any entertainment or moving picture is presented, at his or her own expense, 1 police officer of this city on duty at each entrance and exit of the theatre at least 1 hour before and 1/2 hour after each performance to regulate and control traffic. It shall be the duty of the person to apply to the Chief of Police of this city for an officer.
   (B)   It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police, upon application by a drive-in theatre operator, to assign a regular officer to the duty described in division (A) above. Officers shall be assigned who are not on their regular hours of duty, and any officers so assigned shall be entitled to charge and receive compensation as set out in a schedule of rates filed with the Police Department.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful for any person to open any drive-in theatre and receive admissions until an officer shall be in attendance and his or her fee shall have been paid, which fee shall be paid by the person operating or conducting the drive-in theatre.
